I teach drawing and painting to artists of all ages and levels of ability.
I focus on observational painting and drawing. Simply put the artists learn to draw and paint what they see. I also show the students various ways of expressing themselves by purposely altering or exaggerrating what they see. I use art historical examples to show different ways of approaching art. My feeling is that with a solid foundation an artist is free to invent without restriction.

Classes can be held in my home or at the student's home.
I am located at 312 Greene Ave between Clinton Hill and Bedford-Stuyvesant.

The price per 2 hour private lesson is $80.
The rate can be shared by multiple students if you wish to gather a group of up to 4 students.
